Ultimate Swaddle Blanket - Geo Floral, Yellow

I was given a swaddle designs blanket as a gift and thought, What on earth am I going to do with a blanket this big? Well, after about my baby's third week of life, I realized how awesome this blanket was. It is the only blanket we can use for swaddling because, of course, our baby got bigger and stronger. Our little guy kicks and wiggles out of our other receiving blankets. Once we realized how great this blanket is, we bought two more--a regular one and a light weight one (for hot days). I am a penny pincher, but also a smart shopper. It makes sense to buy a good product that will work for the long term.

I really like this product. Unlike many other receiving blankets, my baby doesn't 'outgrow' this one. The size is bigger than most making it perfect for swaddling, throwing over the carrier, or laying on the floor. The material is very soft and seems comfortable to him. After receiving one as a gift, we were so impressed, we purchased more Swaddle Designs products. Their marquisette receiving blanket is great for warmer weather.

This is our 6th Swaddle Designs blanket, two for each of our three kids. We have also given away several as presents. They are, by far, the best swaddle blankets we have seen or tried, and the feedback from our gift recipients has been similar. They are generous in size, making the swaddling process easier and the swaddle itself tighter without the need for any additional velcro, etc. The blankets are amazingly soft and comfy, and just get more so with washing and love. The blankets are still in active use as favored blankies/lovies for our 5 year old and 2 year old, and we are sure the new baby will love his just as much. The recent addition of a large tag with simple, clear and pictured directions for swaddling is a genius move for sleep deprived new parents.

Love, Love, Love this blanket! If you swaddle your little one this is a must have item. The blanket is warm and soft and more importantly large enough to swaddle the baby through the first few months of life. I tried a variety of blankets with my first born that ended up being too small and could not hold the swaddle after the first few weeks. Then I found the ultimate swaddle and I could not have been more happy. The blanket is the perfect size for swaddling. We swaddled all three of our children for four + months and this blanket was large enough to stay swaddled even with the larger babies that can move around a bit more. In addition to the size the cloth is warm and snuggly. We used in the summer and it was still cool enough so that the baby was not waking due to being too hot. Our son loved the blanket so much that it became his blankie. This quickly became one of my must have baby items and also my go to gift for baby showers.

I love these receiving blankets! I received my first one as a gift, and ended up buying 4 more. My son had to be swaddled the first 3 months of his life (Read The Happiest Baby on the Block)-and the larger size of these blankets are perfect for your growing baby. They washed up well, and still look great after 8 months of use. The designs are fun, and the matching burp cloths are really nice-although a bit pricey! Now these are one of my favorite gifts to give at a baby shower.
