Marquisette Swaddle Blanket - Dottie Hearts, Pastel Pink

My daughter was born at the end of March. The original SwaddleDesigns blankets were perfect for early spring here in chilly Iowa! As the weather warmed, the original blankets were too heavy to continue use. The answer was this lightweight version. Absolutely perfect!! The blanket is very thin yet stands up well to repeated washings.

I am a big fan of SwaddleDesigns. Loved using their products with my first two babies. The marquisette blanket will be great when the weather gets hot without a/c - number three on the way. Over the past several years, I have shared my love of SwaddleDesigns by giving gifts to my pregnant friends. Now that I have discovered the marquisette blanket - I love this new option for my warm weather friends.

Bought this to swaddle my 3 month old in during the summer, since the other swaddling cloths were really thick and warm. This blanket is super light weight, breathable, and huge! I also use it to cover up when nursing as well.

For those first several weeks of being new parents--these saved our lives! They were the only swaddles we used after the first week as they worked the best. The light-weight material allowed for easy baby-burrito-making and kept our kid calm and warm. We recommend these to all of our new parent friends and we ended up being 3 of these in different colors as they just were the best.

This blanket is nice and lightweight, which is perfect for my Florida baby. It'll keep the drafts off without making him too warm. He also loves the pattern, and it's big enough that we can play peek-a-boo or hide under it together. The scrunch-y nature of the blanket means he can grab and manipulate it in a way that he can't with other, heavier blankets. Overall, a great purchase for a summer/warm weather infant.
